This Christmas season I have joined in with mormon.org and their #LIGHTtheWORLD 25 days of service challenge. I am posting a few weeks ahead, as my December is a whirlwind of crazy in our home, and I wanted to start sparking your ideas for service you can do! First up is our Christmas service of Gratitude.
Day 22: Jesus Showed Gratitude and So Can You
Christmas Service of Gratitude
For our service, we decided to write cards to those we were thankful for. Our main priority was our Mailman. We love getting mail right to our door, it’s something we will greatly miss when we move to our new home. We printed off the card I created, and wrote a little note of appreciation. We stapled it to a baggy of baked goods and left it on top of our mailbox.
Feel free to use the card that I designed for your day of gratitude service, but please remember to serve anyone you want, anywhere you want.

My Daughter decided she wanted to use a card in her own way. She wrote a lovely card for her Dad: complete with random letters she has been practicing, and a picture of her and her dad. What a wonderful way to serve! I am sure her Dad will love the way she has showed her gratitude for him.
I am very anxious to get into the season of Christmas. Simple acts of service are a wonderful way to start. Life may be crazy and overwhelming, but as I look to see what little things I can do for others my load seems lighter.
I look forward to seeing what people all over the world do for their days of service this December. What do you plan on doing?
